I believe in retaining the family heritage. Over the years, I have transcribed pages and pages of historical treasures I have located. Letters, articles, or copies of Last Will and Testaments (bad-spelling & grammar included) as not to change the wording of the historical document. When I assist a family putting together their family history book, it is very important not to correct the "author / writer's" original family members grammar or spelling. The objective is to leave everything in tact.
